A proposal to society.

And ultimately a proposal to GOD himself.

Like every major component of the Universe Masterplan, its value must be demonstrated rather than assumed.

Its acceptance must be earned rather than demanded.

Designed from Experience and from First Principles

The development of the Universe Lex would begin with a careful study of existing legal systems.

Humanity has already invested thousands of years into legal thought.

Ignoring this knowledge would be wasteful.

At the same time, the Universe Religion believes that some questions should be reconsidered from first principles.

Not every inherited solution is necessarily optimal.

The goal is therefore twofold:

To learn from existing legal traditions.

And to think independently where improvement appears possible.

The Universe Religion expects future legal experts, scholars and institutions to contribute to this process.

A Constitution for Humanity

Many people assume that a more advanced civilization requires more regulations.

The Universe Religion expects the opposite.

A healthier civilization requires fewer corrective laws.

When corruption declines, fewer anti-corruption measures become necessary.

When violence disappears, fewer laws addressing violence become necessary.

When people act responsibly, many forms of legal intervention become unnecessary.

The goal of the Universe Lex is not to create an ever-expanding legal code.

The goal is to establish a framework that allows society to function with clarity, fairness and simplicity.
