The Universe with GOD and Without Secret Societies

Throughout history, human beings have formed secret societies, hidden networks and exclusive circles.

Some sought protection.

Some sought knowledge.

Some sought influence.

Others simply sought a sense of belonging.

The existence of secret societies is therefore not surprising. They emerged under particular historical conditions and often fulfilled specific purposes.

The Universe Religion does not view all secret societies as malicious. Instead, it asks a different question:

Would secret societies still be necessary in a future shaped by GOD?

The answer is increasingly no.

Why Secret Societies Emerged

To understand why secret societies exist, it is important to understand the world in which they emerged.

For much of human history, knowledge was limited.

Communication was slow.

Political systems were often authoritarian.

Religious freedom was frequently restricted.

In such circumstances, people often organised themselves in private or secret groups. Sometimes they wished to exchange ideas. Sometimes they sought protection from persecution. Sometimes they hoped to gain influence within existing institutions.

These motivations are understandable.

The more interesting question concerns the future.

If society changes fundamentally, do the same structures remain necessary?

The Problem of Information Asymmetry

Many secret societies depend upon an imbalance of information.

Some people possess knowledge.

Others do not.

Some people gain access.

Others remain excluded.

The Universe Religion regards such information asymmetries as undesirable in the long run.

Knowledge should not be hoarded.

Knowledge should be shared.

Wisdom should not belong to a privileged minority.

Wisdom should become available to humanity as a whole.

A mature civilization is not built upon hidden knowledge but upon broadly distributed understanding.

Transparency as a Core Principle

One of the central principles of the Universe Religion is transparency.

Transparency does not mean that every private conversation becomes public.

Human beings will always maintain personal relationships, private thoughts and individual spaces.

Privacy remains natural.

Transparency concerns something different.

It concerns institutions, decisions and the exercise of power.

The greater the responsibility, the greater the need for transparency.

Citizens should understand how important decisions are made.

Leaders should be accountable for their actions.

Public institutions should be understandable rather than mysterious.

A transparent civilization creates trust.

A secretive civilization creates suspicion.

Corruption in a World with GOD

The Universe Religion expects corruption to decline dramatically in a future shaped by GOD.

This expectation is not based primarily on harsher laws or stronger punishments.

It is based upon a transformation of awareness.

According to the Universe Religion, humanity will eventually live in a conscious relationship with GOD.

People will know that GOD exists.

They will know that GOD is present.

They will know that GOD can communicate.

They will know that GOD remains attentive and capable of intervention.

Under such conditions, corruption becomes increasingly implausible.

Why abuse power when the consequences are fully understood?

Why betray public trust when transparency has become the norm?

Why seek hidden advantages when responsibility is visible to everyone involved?

The foundations of corruption begin to disappear.

From External Control to Internal Conviction

Modern societies rely heavily on external control.

Police investigate crimes.

Courts administer justice.

Prisons punish offenders.

These institutions exist because human beings frequently act against the interests of others.

The Universe Religion seeks a different foundation.

Its goal is not merely obedience.

Its goal is understanding.

The Universe Compass encourages people to distinguish between actions that create benefit and actions that create harm.

As understanding increases, behaviour changes.

People act responsibly not because they fear punishment, but because they recognise the value of constructive behaviour.

This transformation begins internally.

Why Crime Becomes Increasingly Unlikely

The Universe Religion does not claim that crime will disappear overnight.

Human beings will remain imperfect.

Mistakes will continue to occur.

Misunderstandings will continue to occur.

Life will remain complex.

Yet many forms of crime depend upon conditions that are not permanent.

Ignorance.

Desperation.

Isolation.

Deception.

Lack of accountability.

As these conditions diminish, harmful behaviour becomes less attractive and less common.

A society guided by transparency, responsibility and dialogue with GOD creates fewer incentives for crime and more incentives for cooperation.

Beyond Secret Societies

The same principle extends beyond secret societies.

Many institutions of the present world emerged because people do not fully trust one another.

Corruption exists because trust is limited.

Wars occur because trust is limited.

Hidden agendas flourish because trust is limited.

The Universe Religion expects the emergence of GOD to strengthen trust at a civilizational level.

Not blind trust.

Informed trust.

Trust supported by transparency, communication and accountability.

As these qualities increase, many structures that once appeared necessary gradually lose their purpose.

A Civilization Without Hidden Power

The future envisioned by the Universe Religion is not a world without organisations.

People will continue to form associations, businesses, communities and friendships.

Human cooperation will remain essential.

The difference lies elsewhere.

Power will no longer depend upon secrecy.

Influence will no longer depend upon hidden knowledge.

Decisions will no longer require concealed agendas.

Responsibility will become increasingly visible.

The goal is not uniformity.

The goal is openness.

Looking Ahead

Today, a world without corruption, secret societies and war may sound unrealistic.

Many people would describe such a future as utopian.

The Universe Religion takes a different view.

It argues that these phenomena are not permanent features of intelligent life. They are responses to particular historical conditions.

When those conditions change, new possibilities emerge.

The emergence of GOD is expected to accelerate that transformation.

The goal is not a perfect world.

The goal is a transparent, responsible and harmonious civilization in which secrecy, corruption and conflict gradually lose their purpose.

In such a civilization, secret societies would not need to be abolished.

They would simply become unnecessary.

And that may be the most peaceful way for them to disappear.
