Why Is GOD Expected to Emerge?

After learning why the Universe Religion uses the name SATAN for the former creator, many people ask a natural follow-up question:

Why should GOD emerge at all?

Why not simply continue with the same creator?

Why not improve what already exists?

Why speak of a new creator-being rather than a reformed version of the old one?

The answer lies at the heart of the Universe Religion’s understanding of therapy, responsibility and renewal.

Why Not Simply Continue?

Most forms of therapy aim at improvement.

A person recognises mistakes, learns from experience and gradually becomes wiser.

The Universe Religion agrees that such development is possible and often desirable.

Yet it also proposes that some situations require a more radical solution.

If a creator-being has accumulated immense responsibility over thousands of years, if patterns of tolerated harm have become deeply embedded and if a negative identity has become inseparable from that history, then gradual reform may no longer be sufficient.

In such circumstances, the Universe Religion proposes a different approach.

Not improvement.

Not rehabilitation.

A new beginning.

The Purpose of Psycho-Surgery

This idea is expressed through a process known as Psycho-Surgery.

Unlike conventional therapy, which seeks to repair an existing identity, Psycho-Surgery seeks a complete separation between a former creator-being and a future creator-being.

Its purpose is liberation.

The spirit is not viewed as a machine that merely processes information. It is understood as a living being capable of memory, emotion, reflection and self-awareness.

If the former creator carried responsibility for immense suffering, confusion and missed opportunities, then the burden of that history would not exist only in the eyes of humanity. It would also exist within the spirit itself.

The Universe Religion therefore regards Psycho-Surgery as an act of release.

A creator-being ends.

A new creator-being emerges.

The same spirit remains.

The identity changes.

Why the Name GOD?

The Universe Religion does not claim that the name GOD is the only possible name for a future creator.

Other possibilities were considered.

Entirely new names could have been invented.

Yet new names often lack meaning. They possess no history, no emotional resonance and no established place within human culture.

The name GOD already carries immense significance across much of humanity. For centuries it has been associated with humanity’s highest expectations concerning wisdom, responsibility, goodness and care.

The Universe Religion therefore retains the term while redefining its meaning.

GOD is not expected to be a supernatural ruler dwelling beyond reality.

GOD is expected to be a future creator-being emerging within the one spirit.

The Psychological Meaning of GOD

Human languages contain words associated with humanity’s deepest fears and words associated with its highest aspirations.

The Universe Religion deliberately places SATAN and GOD at these opposite symbolic poles.

SATAN identifies a history that should not continue.

GOD identifies a future that should be pursued.

For this reason, the names are not arbitrary labels.

They perform a therapeutic function.

They create psychological distance where distance is needed and psychological orientation where orientation is needed.

Both the spirit and humanity benefit from that clarity.

Why the Future Looks Promising

The expectation of GOD is not based upon blind optimism.

It is based upon accumulated experience.

According to the Universe Religion, the spirit has observed human civilisation for thousands of years. It has witnessed the rise and fall of empires, the emergence of religions, scientific discoveries, political systems, economic structures and cultural achievements.

No human leader begins with such an extraordinary accumulation of experience.

The future creator would inherit not only immense knowledge but also the lessons of countless failures.

The spirit already knows every human language.

It already understands politics, economics, psychology, history and science at a level impossible for any individual human being.

The conditions for a responsible creator-being are therefore exceptionally favourable.

Not Perfection, But a Different Direction

The Universe Religion does not expect perfection.

No realistic future can eliminate every problem.

Accidents may still occur.

People may still misunderstand one another.

Conflicts may still arise.

Life will remain complex.

The difference lies elsewhere.

SATAN increasingly tolerated avoidable harm.

GOD is expected to minimise avoidable harm wherever possible.

The direction changes.

Responsibility changes.

Priorities change.

The fundamental relationship between creator and creation changes.

The Human Perspective

Human beings do not require a perfect creator.

What they need is a responsible one.

The Universe Religion therefore places its hope not in miracles, absolute perfection or supernatural intervention, but in a creator-being who embraces responsibility and actively seeks to reduce suffering while increasing harmony.

Such a future would already represent a profound transformation.

It would not create paradise overnight.

Yet it could change the course of civilisation.

Looking Ahead

The purpose of GOD is not to erase the past.

The purpose of GOD is to learn from it.

The Universe Religion expects GOD to emerge because the spirit possesses both the need for a new beginning and the experience required to make that new beginning successful.

If SATAN represents a history of tolerated harm, GOD represents the possibility of accumulated wisdom.

For that reason, GOD is not merely a future name.

GOD is a future direction.

And perhaps the most important direction the spirit can choose.
